NOCTURNES // Night Songs For Dark Times // TICKETS

£10.00

A night of night music featuring a selection of London’s finest.

Tuesday, December 9th Live at St Giles.

FT. NYSSA - FISCAL HARM - GAL GO - GLASS EEL - JACOB READ - SHOKO - LOHO - LANNY - TED MAIR - KENICHI IWASA - JACOB MUNA - ANNA BAILY

What treasures can we coax out of the night-scape we are forced to stalk? What can we draw to the surface together? What spark can we use to light the winter fires?

The evening’s singers are asked to bring to the table a composition that encompasses their interpretation of “nocturne”. The night song will then be opened up to interpretation via the talents and improvisational vision of the other musicians. Artists will rotate instruments and roles and allow new music to emerge to meet the shape of the night and the talent involved.

Sparks flying in the dark. Candles in the window. Buried treasure.

We may not know where we’re going, but we can get together and play our way through the dark. Let’s open the channels.

All ticket money will be split evenly amongst the artists and technicians.
